A doula is a person trained in labor and birth support. The primary role of a doula is to provide physical and emotional support to a laboring woman.

I am a DONA-certified birth doula serving Omaha, Nebraska and the surrounding communities. I am committed to childbearing women and their families. With patience, nurturing, and expertise, I can help you achieve a safe, empowering, and beautiful birth.

The word "doula" is Greek for "woman caregiver. " The word is used today to describe someone who is trained in childbirth support.

A doula has thorough knowledge of the physiological process of childbirth as well as the deep emotional impact it can have on a woman.
